a beautiful frame is essential

Everything about Noble’s art is produced by the finest materials and craftsmanship, that includes his framing options. While many artists overlook the importance of finishing a piece with a quality frame, Noble considers it an integral part of his art. He personally designed every detail of the two framing options, including the unique integrated French cleat.

Each frame is handmade in Bozeman Montana, and is constructed out of hardwood oak. The frames are designed to give his art weight, providing the feeling you would expect from a legacy piece of art.

Signature series frame

This is Noble’s unique take on the classic black and white frame. The outer frame measures a thick 2.5” wide and 2.25” deep. Adding to the uniqueness, the outer and inner edges have 45 degree bevelled edges. The inner frame simulates the traditional white matting you see in many frames, but is made from solid oak. It too has a bevelled inner edge. The plexiglass and print are placed BEHIND this inner frame giving it the unique look. This frame adds roughly 11’ to the width and height of the printed piece.

Contempoary series frame

If you want a modern/clean look then you might consider our Contemporary Frame. The frame measures 2.5” wide and 2.25” deep (the same girthie size as our Signature Series). Unlike the Signature Series, the edges are sharp right angles and are not bevelled, giving it a more modern feel. Made of solid oak, you can choose either black or white paint. This frame adds approximately 6” to the overall print size.
